Hi everyone,

We’ve now moved from the awareness stage into the action phase. 

Setting up the petition and keeping it in people’s minds was straightforward enough — but now I’m being sent a huge amount of useful information, tips, and advice from people in the media who clearly know what they’re talking about.

And I’ll be honest: I’m concerned about using all of this to its best effect. We’ve reached the point where maybe we need a small steering group of people who understand what happens next.

My ideal mix would be:

• Someone media-savvy
• Someone with a strong grasp of the music industry
• Someone with policy or government experience
• And someone who can represent the public voice

And someone task driven to pull all this together. (100% not me)

Given we’re all scattered across the country, a Zoom meeting (or similar) would make this easy.

I’m conscious that the window of opportunity is closing — and that stalling tactics may start appearing — so it would be good to move quickly.

I’d really welcome your thoughts. I am in unchartered waters here.
