DON'T DELAY GAS LEAF BLOWER BAN! STOP THE NOISE & POLLUTION!

Who wants the deafening noise of gas blowers to continue? Who wants to continue  breathing high levels of benzene, butadiene, formaldehyde and fine particulates every time one powers up near you? If your answer is NOT ME, then sign this petition. After failing to show up at ANNOUNCED PUBLIC hearings on the proposed ban—now supposed to take effect Jan. 1, 2026--the landscapers have lobbied to delay the ban. They decided they don’t care what their customers want. Or about the health of children with asthma or anyone with a lung condition, and certainly not about the workers who use the blowers constantly. They claim that quieter, non-polluting battery blowers can’t do the job—not true-- and that they’ll have to raise their prices, even though their costs would be lower after less than a year, because they won’t have  to buy gasoline and oil to fuel the blowers. Huntington officials are listening and are likely to delay the ban. Sign now and stop the noise and pollution!
