Our community just received word that two historical houses at 42 and 48 S. Mclean Blvd will be torn down to be replaced by a 4-story nursing home facility. There was a statement made previously (without concrete evidence) that we removed because we do not want to misinform anyone. We simply want to save the house.

The information we received was from stories that many from this area have shared. For that we are extremely grateful.

Both houses are over 110 years old. That alone is a reason to save them both. We hope that the community agrees. Thank you in advance for your support!
