
It's time to come and show your support for the SWC Art Gallery!
We will be speaking at the next Southwestern College Governing Board Meeting (04/21) to ask them to update the Facilities Master Plan to stop the Art Gallery building (bldg. 88) from being demolished.

WHEN/WHERE:
SWC Governing Board Meeting: Monday April 21st, starting at 5:30pm on the SWC campus (900 Otay Lakes Rd. Chula Vista) - Building 64-Rooms 238 N & S (these are the rooms directly across from the main Library entrance)
PARKING- Park in Lot J by the Stadium and walk up the steps to the Library/Learning Resource building, the rooms will be on your left at the top of the stairs. MAP
HOW TO SUPPORT
IN-PERSON AT THE MEETING:
Just SHOW UP to cheer & support.
or SPEAK during Public Comments- to Speak: get there before the meeting starts and fill out a request for oral communication card in-person for a chance to tell the Governing Board, "Why they should Save the SWC Art Gallery Building" (speakers will have up to 3 minutes and may cede their time to another speaker).

EMAIL: You may send an email comment to Zaneta Encarnacion at zencarnacion@swccd.edu by: 12noon on the day of the meeting (April 21)
Email the Governing Board and let them know to "NOT DEMOLISH THE ART GALLERY BUILDING". Just think what 300 emails sent in would do.

PROMOTE OUR PETITION: we need signatures & support. Get us to 1,000 supporters! Spread the word & the link and get people to support. (Please note that any money donated on the petition page goes to Change.org and not to Save-SWC Art Gallery.org)
GET INVOLVED:
We need volunteers to assist in Spreading the Word, Building Support and helping with the work load. Create some social media posts or videos or emails for the community to use. Spread the word to your contacts or people of influence.
