The Sol Legare Sand Oak is coming back to the BZA!

SOL LEGARE GRAND OAK TREE UPDATE: We knew this would be returning soon and it has been publicly noticed that Charleston County’s BZA will hear the case to remove the 40 DBH grand sand oak on Richardson Road to make room for spec houses on Monday, July 13th at 4 p.m.
It is our understanding that nothing has changed with the developer’s request and that all previous public comments will be forwarded to the Board. All that said, the case still DOES NOT meet all the criteria necessary to warrant the removal of this historic grand tree, and it must meet ALL.
