Hills of Gold Preservation Inc

Feb 10, 2024
Submissions close at 5pm tomorrow, Monday 12th February for the Hills of Gold Wind Farm Independent Planning Commission Determination.
Please make an objecting submission to communicate how special the Nundle and Hanging Rock landscape and biodiversity is to you and your family.
Please use the Make a Submission link on the IPC website or copy and paste the address into your browser https://www.ipcn.nsw.gov.au/make-a-submission?project_id=782a4fef-38fc-48b4-9a80-9a8e14cdb8a4
If you own local property please use your Nundle, Hanging Rock, Crawney, or Timor address.
We have continuing concerns about the:
- change of heritage character to the area
- impacts on award winning tourism businesses
- 190ha of clearing required
- location next to two national parks
- flawed proposed biodiversity offset and curtailment strategies to mitigate bird and bat deaths
- unsuitable soil for large scale industrial construction
- use of local roads for oversize overmass vehicles, and
- lack of detail for extreme internal roads and turbine foundation construction on steep slopes and the escarpment.
Thank you for helping to preserve the Hills of Gold from industrial development.
