We have been caught up with our various legal appeals against the granting of planning permission for the Dublin Mountains Visitor Centre at the Hellfire and Massy's Wood. Our appeals to the European Court in Luxembourg and the Supreme Court here in Dublin recognised the merits of our arguments but did not regard them as sufficient to prevent the development from going ahead. South Dublin County Council now plan to proceed with their plans starting in the first or second quarter of 2024. Felling licences have been issued.
We haven’t received the final bill from our legal team yet, so we are still fundraising to ensure we can cover all our costs to date! Our stunning 2024 Calendar is on sale now.
