As we look forward to celebrating Easter this weekend. We would like to take this opportunity to wish you, your family and friends a very happy Easter and thank you for your continued support! Here is a little update as to where the campaign is at. To date we have received 16,000 signatures between our online and paper petition. There were over 115 submissions to An Bord Pleanála and we are waiting for more to be uploaded. The applicant in requested to carry out a bird survey with particular reference to the birds that are features of in interest in the Wicklow Mountains SPA (site code: 004040).” Having regard to the nesting season during April and the summer months, an extension time until the 30th of September, 2018 has been given to the applicant. We continue to fundraise to raise the much needed funds required for an Oral Hearing, the date still to be decided on by An Bord Pleanála.
