South Dublin County Council on the behalf of Coillte and the wider Dublin Mountains Partnership has submitted a planning application to An Bord Pleanála for the Board’s consideration under Section 175 (30 of the Planning and Development act (as amended). The application was lodged on the 31/07/2017. It is a very important planning application and the documentation submitted with it reflects the scale of what is being proposed (Image will give you an idea of the scale of building). I would urge you to go through the documentation submitted to make an informed view. It is important that you let An Bord Pleanála know your views or thoughts. This must be done in writing by the 25th September and involves a fee of €50.00 per observation or submission with another additional fee of €50.00 for an Oral Hearing request. It is important to quote the application number, which is PL06S.JA0040 - Proposed Dublin Mountain Visitors Centre and all associated works in the townlands of Montpelier, Killakee and Jamestown in South Dublin.
