We the amateur radio community have started this petition after the announcement by S5Lab that they will turn off the GreenCube Amateur Radio Digipeater.

The amateur radio community understands that GreenCube aligns with space sustainability and its debris management commitments, however, if the satellite is still operational and will stay in orbit we urge reconsideration to allow the community to enjoy making two-way contacts around the world sharing in technology and science exploration.

We urge the Italian Space Agency, S5Lab, and Sapienza's University to reconsider and look at other possibilities to extend its mission beyond the 5th of February 2024 either by joining up with one of the international AMSAT organisations or by other means.
