Save The Grateful Paw Cat Shelter!

Save The Grateful Paw Cat Shelter!
The Issue
The Town of Huntington is evicting The Grateful Paw cat shelter on January 1st. The Grateful Paw has been taking care of Huntington's stray, feral, homeless, sick, and unwanted cats for over 40 years. They currently house 68 cats in their shelter which is run by amazing volunteers. The TOH officials will not renew a contract with the operator of the shelter on the town property in East Northport because of the groups failure to file the required paperwork with the IRS. The 501c was reinstated retroactively. Ms. Larkin the head of the shelter and all the volunteers young and old are cat people and whisperers, maybe not the most business savvy because saving cats is the goal. Larkin has a new accounting firm handling the business side of this dedicated operation. Please sign this petition and support this wonderful, decades old shelter.
