The 2021 Gossip Girl reboot is a show that has introduced so much we have lacked in television: rich, Black elites, queer characters going through real experiences, and Black and diverse characters experiencing the same fun and wild mess their white counterparts were allowed and praised for nearly a decade ago. The show highlights and boosts its Black women leads, Queer leads, features an assembled cast of diverse forefront and background characters, and a burgeoning plot that is getting better by the episode. Gossip Girl 2021 is something that deserves its third and hopefully, fourth season as per the show creator Joshua Safran's wishes.
