Please sign to save the Gnomes of 9th & 9th! A local artist surprised and delighted our neighborhood with whimsical Gnomes that appeared during the start of the global pandemic. Now a unique part of our community, the Gnomes brings joy to those who live here - including our children.  

BOOOO! Did you know the Salt Lake Arts Council approved an art installation of a giant 40 foot tall white humpback whale to replace our local Gnome installation? Please, we do not want to lose our Gnomes! Our Gnomes are a part of our local culture and have become a symbol of a hope and positivity during the most challenging times. In a way, they are a little part of our history. 

Please sign the petition to stop the installation and save the Gnomes! It is our neighborhood and we want the Gnomes to stay and bring us joy for years to come. Our hope is this petition will touch hearts and minds from the media to the mayor and will preserve the local art of our community. Thank you!
