For twenty years East Hall Recording has captured the sounds of Northwest Arkansas. Thousands of local and regional musicians have come through these doors and recorded as many songs. Over the last six+ years, over 100 students from Northwest Arkansas Community College have come here to learn the art and craft of recording.

Now, the Highway 112 expansion is going to bulldoze the studio (and our home next door). The Arkansas Department of Transportation is trying to bully us into taking an offer that covers barely half the true relocation cost. Arkansas law and the federal Uniform Relocation Act promise “equivalent utility,” not a cut-rate buy-out.

We call on ARDOT Director Jared Wiley and the Arkansas State Highway Commission to provide fair compensation to rebuild this cultural landmark. Without fair compensation, East Hall will likely cease to exist. Please sign and share before the Commission meets on August 20, 2025.
