SAVE THE FLAME - Stop The Tennessee Titans From Changing The Logo
The Issue
We, the undersigned, call on the Tennessee Titans organization to preserve the current Titans logo — including the iconic flaming “T” — and reject any unnecessary rebrand that strips away the visual identity our city has embraced for decades.
The flames are not a trend.
They are not a marketing gimmick.
They are part of who we are.
Since the franchise’s arrival in 1997, the flaming “T” has represented toughness, grit, and the relentless spirit of Tennessee football. It's been worn on the field by legendary Titans who have created unforgettable memories, including the late Steve McNair, Eddie George, Chris Johnson, Derrick Henry, and, currently, Jeffrey Simmons and Cam Ward. Generations of Titans fans have proudly worn this logo through the good times and the bad, and it's embedded in the culture of Nashville and the state of Tennessee.
As a Nashville native and lifelong Titans fan, I started this petition because this logo means something. It represents Sundays with friends and family in Nissan Stadium. It represents the Music City Miracle and many other unforgettable Titans memories. It represents the growth of football in Nashville. It represents us.
In an era where professional sports franchises increasingly chase “modernization,” minimalism, and corporate neutrality, we urge ownership to resist the temptation to sand down our identity in favor of something sterile and trend-driven. Not every brand needs to be flattened. Not every tradition needs to be redesigned.
The flames set us apart.
They symbolize:
- Passion
- Energy
- A team that plays fast and hits hard
The NFL already has enough generic logos. Nashville deserves a team that looks like Nashville — bold, distinct, and unafraid.
This is not opposition to growth.
This is a defense of identity.
We call on Titans' leadership to:
- Publicly commit to keeping the current flaming logo.
- Preserve the visual elements that have defined the Titans era.
- Involve fans transparently in any future discussions on uniforms or branding
The Titans belong to Tennessee — not to passing design trends.
If you believe tradition matters…
If you believe identity matters…
If you believe the flames should keep burning…
Sign the petition.
Save The Flame. Keep the fire alive. 🔥
