Save The Ferguson Bay Wildlife, Wetlands and Shoreline

Save The Ferguson Bay Wildlife, Wetlands and Shoreline

The Issue

Swan, Ducks, Geese, Loons, and many other types of wildlife have lost their home on the shoreline and in the wetlands of Ferguson Bay in Wollaston off The South Rd. These few places on the west bank of Ferguson Bay were where these beautiful birds reared their young every year. This year they will have nowhere to go due to the destruction that has occured on properties at the bay. More destruction and construction has been proposed in this area.

Although it has been said to be protected, the destruction has occured regardless of these protections. You can contact Crowe Valley Conservation Authority at www.crowevalley.com (613)472-3137. You can also contact Wollaston Township at www.wollaston.ca (613)337-5731

Please be a voice for the animals, their shoreline homes and the wetlands by signing this petition. Lets try and stop further destruction and restore the habitats lost.

Thank You for Caring
