Dear Friends, All of you know that RAMSAR treaty was signed by Govt of India ,Ministry of Environment ,Forest & Climate change. It's up to our country whether we will join next COP13 in Dubai or before that we will come out from treaty obligation. As such there is no legal frame work or bindings for the construction on public interest but violation of treaty agreement can tarnish the image of INDIA in regard to wetland conservation and it's sustainable usages. India may not get any foreign grants on BIOLOGICAL DIVERSITY or ECOLOGICAL BALANCE issues in future for violation of Ramsar agreement on East Kolkata Wetland ( EKW) sites.
