It's imperative that these dogs, who had no say in their circumstances, receive the chance for a life in a care facility suited to their needs.
We strongly advocate for these dogs to be moved to a permanent sanctuary where they can live securely, yet freely, in a well-managed environment. Consider facilities that cater to exotic animals, boasting ample space and stringent safety measures. Such a sanctuary would provide the right environment for these animals to heal and thrive, away from human neglect.
Please do not euthanize the two dogs after the tragic death of a two year old child. It will complicate the tragedy. No dog should die because their guardian is irresponsible. These dogs should go to a permanent sanctuary, perhaps an exotic animal sanctuary that has lots of space yet security. The one to blame was the dog's neglectful guardian.
