The proposed development is a behemoth- 4 or 5 stories, 100+ units, and 66 parking spaces that will bring traffic, noise, and congestion. 

We believe development shouldn't be at the expense of vital community areas like our dog park. We’re calling upon the city planners and responsible authorities to reconsider the plan and preserve this space for future generations. 

Green spaces are crucial for urban areas. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, they contribute to public health by providing spaces for physical activity, improving mental health, and even reducing violence in neighborhoods. They aren't just aesthetic enhancements - they're life-enhancing components of our environment (CDC, 2020).
