DMUSD is ignoring our petition and moving forward with their plan to take the Del Mar Heights field away from our students and our community. We are currently mobilizing to make sure they can’t. When our community voted YES to approve Bond MM, we voted to REBUILD Del Mar Heights Elementary School. We never voted to eliminate a majority of the field; open recreational space that is scarce in our community and that we can never replace. The proposed design rips out the green heart of our community!  We respectfully request that DMUSD revisit their proposed design and find a way to keep the large field intact. A Tot Lot is not an equal swap for our field!
