Thank you so much for signing our petition to save the deep pool at Leichhardt. We have now received 1249 signatures which is huge!

We need your help now more than ever to raise our voice and email Inner West Labor Councillors with our concerns regarding the depth of the replacement dive pool.

We have just met with Greens Council member Kobi Shetty which will likely result in a notice of motion being put forth to have the depth of the new multi-use program pool at LPAC revisited at the upcoming Inner West council meeting on the 12th of September.

That is less than two weeks away and we need your help now more than ever to convince the local Labor council members to vote for an increased depth so that deep water sports like Diving and Underwater Rugby can continue to thrive at this pool!

We have drafted some emails (linked) which you can send to local council members depending on if you are a local diver,  underwater rugby player, friend/family member of a diver or friend/family member of an underwater rugby player.

The more individualised you can make it (or just completely write a new one yourself) the better and if you have the capacity, give the council members a call after you have sent your email to make sure they have received it and understand your concerns.

We have less than two weeks to save the depth of our pool, please help us by sending these emails.
