Happy Easter Weekend everyone!

This week Dartmoor has seen snow, hail, rain and sunshine all within hours.  The Dartmoor Hill Pony herds roaming free on the moor are well equipped for all harsh weathers: they have rare genetics giving them all the physical attributes they need.  They also learn survival behaviours from herd elders.  There are no other equines like them and they can not be replaced.

We are a whisker away from reaching 100,000 signatures on our petition asking the Defra Secretary of State to direct Natural England not to cut the number of ponies on Dartmoor any further.  They are already classed as Endangered.

We want to keep Dartmoor Hill Ponies on Dartmoor.  Could you make just one person aware of the trouble they are in, and gain one more signature?
