Our local pub, restaurant and hotel set in the Village of Worthington, Standish Nr Wigan is the subject of a planning application to demolish it for a residential development. It's our villages last remaining asset and a vital part to the community. Traffic congestion is already too high and the safety to the community is under threat. 
The Crown is also on the Green Belt so you can say no house building should take place.
