Dear Supporters,
Thank you for your support as we fight to preserve Pokémon GO players’ access to the Crossings. Over the past month, our petition has garnered over 1,200 signatures and attracted the attention of various local news outlets including WRGB, NEWS10 ABC, and the Times Union. It has become abundantly clear that the town’s efforts to discourage Pokémon GO at the Crossings are completely unjustified and extremely unpopular.
Despite numerous attempts to reach out to town officials, we have not been able to get substantive responses or engage in meaningful dialogue. For this reason, we will be attending a Colonie Town Board meeting on Thursday, December 5th at 6:30 pm. Everyone is encouraged to attend, especially town residents. The more people who show up, the stronger our case is. During this meeting, each attendee will be able to speak for up to 3 minutes if they wish to do so. This is a wonderful opportunity to share your story with town officials and explain why we care so much about this park. I hope to see you there!
The Colonie Town Board meeting will be held at Town Hall. The address is 534 Loudon Rd, Latham, NY 12110.
Sincerely,
Spencer Moon
