The Studio C Alpha Chuck E. Cheese stage holds a special place in my heart. It's not just a stage; it’s a piece of my childhood. Countless birthdays and celebrations have taken place at locations with this stage, creating memories that I, along with many others, hold dear. There are only 4 Studio C Alpha stages left, and Mayfield's is the only one that has all the decorations and props.

This beloved stage is now facing the threat of a 2.0 remodel that threatens to erase the magic and nostalgia, replacing it with a video wall, which further strengthens kid's screen time addictions. While modernization can have it's benefits, it shouldn't come at the cost of strengthening screen addictions, or erasing history and the bonds that have formed around it. The Studio C Alpha is more than just a stage; it represents a unique experience that is becoming increasingly rare in our fast-paced world.

Preserving this iconic stage not only honors the memories of those who grew up enjoying it but also allows future generations to undergo the same joyful experiences. The animatronic community deserves to retain the essence of its history and culture, which are inherently tied to places like Mayfield Heights.

We propose reconsideration of the remodel to at least preserve this stage as a separate feature alongside modernization efforts. This way, we can strike a balance between modernity and timeless joy.
