After recent budget cuts, Bradley University has announced the elimination of the Center for Legal Studies and laid off Brigette Lobacz as director. The loss of this resource for the pre-law students is devastating, as many of these students are the first in their families to pursue legal education. Brigette Lobacz, who was hired last year, practiced in the Peoria area for over a decade before accepting the director position. Her expertise, compassion, and professionalism is unmatched, and without her, many of the pre-law students lack the guidance that is vital in the admissions process for law school.
