We Will Not Give Up !

Dear Friends and Supporters, We have submitted our petition to Cato Manor Cemetery Association's attorneys and to some of the members of the Association. Prior to that we wrote to them requesting the opportunity to meet with them and present the petition in person. Of course, we sent the petition to Secona Freight Logistics. They all simply ignored our emails ! We then submitted the petition to KZN Environmental Affairs, Amafa KZN, Water Affairs, Heritage Resources Agency, National Environmental Affairs, and the ministers of Arts and Culture (national and provincial). They all ignored our petition and emails and didn't even bother to acknowledge receipt ! We wrote to the eThekwini Municipality requesting an opportunity to present the petition in person. We received an acknowledgement of our email from the office of the Head of Parks, Thembinkosi Ngcobo, stating that they will get back to us. We are still waiting... The South African Human Rights Commission acknowledged receipt of our complaint. We wait in anticipation for their response and investigation of the matter. We are not going to be disillusioned by the non-response from key government departments and agencies. In fact, we expected this type of response from Secona and the Association. We did not expect it from government authorities and politicians. Rest assured, We will push on, We will not give up. We will hold them all accountable.
