The Better Off Overall Test (BOOT) is a special process which has returned billions of dollars to millions of workers. Since 2016, RAFFWU has used the BOOT in Retail and Fast Food to bring back penalty rates, casual loading, overtime rates and many other conditions.

Today, every worker at Woolworths, Coles, Kmart, Officeworks, Big W, BWS, Dan Murphy's, KFC, Hungry Jack's, Domino's Pizza and McDonald's has far better wages and conditions because of the Better Off Overall Test.

Big Business is angry and they have convinced the Labor Party to smash the BOOT.

The BOOT is under attack right now as the Senate considers changes to the law which would smash the BOOT. In the future, individual workers, in casual jobs, paid less than minimum wages, often under 18, will need to run complex legal cases to try and get the minimum.

The BOOT is not broken. It works well. That is why big business hates it. Only people who hate workers are attacking BOOT.
