Thanks for all the support everyone. Over 3000 signatures, hundreds of testimonies, 2 news reports, and 2 committee meetings later: we finally got our permit!

The biggest change that comes with getting the permit is that the bin is no longer allowed to remain outside after 6pm when the shop closes. Anyone left without a coat or with wet socks after that time will go wanting.
It is a shame that all this was due to a small handful of complaints led by one individual. With that in mind, please keep the free bin clean and quiet to ensure there are no further complaints against it! I’m counting on all of you!
