Founded in the late 1600’s, Patterson Farm is a historically significant part of our agrarian past, and a treasure for future generations. The farm must be managed with thoughtful consideration for its safety and perpetual preservation. Mothers Against Drunk Driving(MADD) statistics indicate 28 people per day lose their lives to drunk driving, and every 2 minutes someone is injured by a driver who made the perilous decision to drive after consuming alcohol. Impairment begins with the first drink. Some elected officials and township staff have, in the past, turned a blind eye to alcohol consumption on Patterson Farm. This practice must stop.
