Carelessness with fire could result in catastrophic loss of life or property on Patterson Farm, the “gem” of Lower Makefield Township, Bucks County, PA. Founded in the late 1600’s, Patterson Farm is a historically significant part of our agrarian past, and a treasure for future generations. The farm must be managed with thoughtful consideration for its safety and perpetual preservation. Friends of Patterson Farm Preservation, please add your voice to our request for a BAN ON ALCOHOL, OPEN FLAMES AND SMOKING ON PATTERSON FARM. Please send an email to “Dobby” Dobson, Chairman of the Lower Makefield Township Board of Supervisors simply stating: “I SUPPORT A BAN ON ALCOHOL, OPEN FLAMES AND SMOKING ON PATTERSON FARM.” Please send your email TODAY to ddobson@lmt.org Also please cc admin@pattersonfarmpreservation.com so progress can be monitored. Mothers Against Drunk Driving(MADD) statistics indicate 28 people per day lose their lives to drunk driving, and every 2 minutes someone is injured by a driver who made the perilous decision to drive after consuming alcohol. Impairment begins with the first drink. Some elected officials and township staff have, in the past, turned a blind eye to alcohol consumption on Patterson Farm. This practice must stop. Carelessness with alcohol, cigarettes and fire result in loss of life and property. These are preventable losses. Please send your emails today. PLEASE SHARE THIS POST TO MAKE A POSITIVE CHANGE!
