Before Christmas, the PA Farmland Preservation Board was set to vote on accepting a 101.9 acre portion of Patterson Farm into the farmland preservation program, which would have generated $917,100 in badly needed preservation funding. Shortly before the vote was scheduled to take place we received word that the application for preservation had mysteriously been WITHDRAWN, perhaps at the request of someone in Bucks County government! A source at the County Planning Commission claims to be unaware of the withdrawal. Patterson Farm is township-owned. Township Supervisors were questioned about the apparent withdrawal of the preservation application, and they claim to know nothing. WHAT IS THE TRUTH? AND WHO IS THE GRINCH WHO APPEARS TO HAVE STOLEN PRESERVATION FROM PATTERSON FARM? We intend to find out!
