Hey there!

My name is Kai. I am currently a Junior at St. Norbert College in De Pere, Wisconsin studying to be an art teacher. Recently, our school has been getting plenty of budget cuts without the students knowledge until after the changes are made.

Yesterday, i was informed that not only did almost all of the art incredible professors at our school get fired for “budget” reasons, but also in 4 years, there will no longer be an art program at St. Norbert. Our art family had taken a large hit and i am so devastated for every one of my art professors that have helped more not only develop my art skills, but also helped me grow as a person.

So, what I’m asking for here is signatures to get the school’s attention that art is a vital program. Yes, i understand budget cuts are necessary, but taking out all art majors is not the answer. We don’t have much time left to save the program as the changes are already being laid out.

Please sign and share to help me save our art program.

Thank you on behalf of me and my art family.
