As a student, I wrote this petition to address the lack of security for the animals safety.As a student who can write a petition like this, I use this platform to be the voice of the animals that are victims of cruelty in society.

Here in the Philippines, people abandon their pets like cats and dogs because of unwanted births. Sometimes they choose to abandon them rather than give them to a shelter that can adapt their pets.

The widespread issue about stray dogs that  are treated inhumanely, and it is frequently accompanied by poor nutrition, a lack of basic hygiene, and merciless slaughter that instills dread in its target. According to this perspective, hunger is a pain experienced when one's stomach is empty. When one thinks they are in danger, fear is an unpleasant sensation they feel. severely undermining the rule of law in the Philippines while aggravating the issues.
Sometimes there are people even when they see an animal being abused, it's like it's none of their business and they don't say or report it. Not only the people who abuse animals should be punished but also the witnesses who choose to remain silent rather than report it to the authorities.And stray animals might pose a threat to human health. the spread of parasites and diseases like rabies and leptospirosis. If stray dogs on the streets are not reduced, sporadic attacks on people and their animals may also happen.So it's better to just surrender it than leave it on the street.

Therefore, I created this petition to help me achieve my aim with animals, which is to give abandoned animals a place to stay, stop animals from wandering around communities, and the laws for them will be tightened and expanded.If there are human rights, then there should also be animal rights because life is not only for humans.
