At the end of October this vital bus service is due to axed.

It is the only bus from Hayfield and New Mills in Derbyshire to Stockport in Cheshire.

If there were no bus service, people would be left isolated and stranded .

Travel for Greater Manchester has agreed to fund the service upto the  border at Strines.

However after Strines, Derbyshire County Council hasn't agreed on the future of the service. They have received 47 million pounds for bus services in Derbyshire, we need to encourage them to use some of the money to maintain the service.

Stopping this service would impact on the lives of the dissabled, the elderly, force more cars onto the roads affecting the environment.

If there were no bus, access to Health care, Education, jobs, leisure and tourism would suffer.

Imagine the impact this would have on peoples lives.

There is a govermental meeting early in September, to decide the fate of this and other vital bus services.
