Dear Save the 3 Jackson Bus Supporters,
Tomorrow, February 7, 2023 the Board of the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) will meet to conduct an all-day “workshop” to discuss their budget and priorities which will likely impact decisions regarding the 3 Jackson bus line.
If you want the 3 Jackson bus restored, we need every supporter to email MTABoard@SFMTA.com today to make the 3 Jackson a top priority of tomorrow’s SFMTA “workshop” discussions and decisions.
There are nearly 350 signatures on this petition and more than 100 supporters on the SaveThe3Jackson distribution list. When SFMTA receives hundreds of emails from San Francisco MUNI riders today, it will make a difference.
Write your own email message to SFMTA or simply cut and paste this statement:
The Save the 3 Jackson effort is asking that SFMTA restore the 3 Jackson MUNI bus line no later than 2023 on a schedule no less frequent than every 10 minutes up to 10:00pm and announce the date when the 3 Jackson will be brought back to service.
We will also send the signed petition to SFMTA today as well.
Here is the SFMTA agenda item that should concern you:
“The service planning team will gather stakeholder feedback and analyze reliability, ridership and crowding data to better understand opportunities to enhance the current transit network. These priorities will inform the next two-year operating budgetand will outline a future service vision, should more resources become available.”
