As the funding for this service is set to expire in September, we urge you to take immediate action to secure the future of this crucial transportation link.

The bus serves as a lifeline for so many people who use the route, connecting Carsic, Skegby, Stanton Hill to Mansfield and on to Nottingham. Many people who use the service do not have access to private transport, leaving them stranded, isolated, and unable to meet their basic needs. The loss of this bus service would disrupt the lives of countless individuals, causing undue hardships and adversely affecting our local economy.

We, the undersigned residents of Sutton-in-Ashfield and Stanton Hill, hereby petition and request your immediate attention to this matter. We call on Nottinghamshire County Council and Stagecoach to enter discussions around the future of the 141 service, with a view to ensuring the service remains commercially viable for the foreseeable future and extending the service to areas such as Wild Hill, who currently do not have a service.

We urge you to allocate the necessary resources to ensure the continued operation of the 141-bus service beyond September.
