Nobody is saying we don’t need electricity. We all use power every day. The problem is where they want to put these giant power towers.

Temecula Creek is one of the last natural wildlife areas left around here. Deer live there. Coyotes, bobcats, owls, hawks, rabbits, reptiles, birds, bees, and so many other animals depend on that creek to survive. There are old trees, native plants, and animals that use the creek to travel safely through the area.

Why push massive industrial power lines right through the middle of that when there are roads, empty fields, and other less damaging routes available?

This project would bring huge towers, construction trucks, clearing of vegetation, noise, and permanent damage to the creek area. It also increases fire concerns in a place that already gets dangerously dry and windy every year.

People are not against electricity. People are asking why one of the last beautiful natural spaces in Temecula has to be sacrificed when there are smarter places to put this project.
