Mornington Peninsula Shire Council, at its meeting on 6th December 2022 voted to retain Sunnyside North beach in Mt Eliza, Victoria as clothing optional. In addition, they voted to make improvements to the beach and surrounding areas including the carpark of the clothed beach next door.

This is a massive achievement, and we thank every person who contributed to the campaign, including the 1887 legends who signed our online petition.

Dare to fight, dare to win. We dared to fight on behalf of all naturists for the right to retain the only remaining clothing optional beach in Melbourne, and achieved an amazing victory.
