Hello to all who have loved the Summerfield Cinemas theater which is now closed as of March 9, 2025:
We are working daily on its revival!
Our committee is now working with a new vision for re-opening the theater at 551 Summerfield Road, Santa Rosa, CA 95405 under the banner - "Summerfield For The Arts"
- This is an aspiration, a goal we envision... we have mentioned this in previous communications - a reimagining of the theater space.
- We are exploring so many avenues - fundraising ideas and associations with local philanthropies, financial viability, theater management and programming, conversations with key parties - and we invite you to be part of the efforts.
- A community the size of Santa Rosa absolutely can do as countless smaller cities have done- revitalize and run quality cinemas.

Virtual Community Meeting with Mayor Stapp and Vice Mayor Alvarez

Join us for a virtual community meeting where residents can engage directly with the newly appointed Mayor and Vice Mayor and share essential feedback on a range of topics.
Santa Rosa community members are invited to participate in a virtual community meeting hosted by Mayor Mark Stapp and Vice Mayor Eddie Alvarez on Monday, April 7, at 6 p.m., via Zoom (see details below). The meeting will follow a webinar format, allowing participants to type questions in the Q&A section.
This meeting is an excellent occasion to connect with elected officials, ask questions, and voice your ideas to enhance Santa Rosa as a place to live, work, and grow. The agenda will cover key updates on the city's achievements, budget priorities, and provide an opportunity for public input.
