Hello Save Summerfield Supporters - we have good news!
On July 29th the Save Summerfield committee filed an appeal to reverse the City's decision to approve the permit for Planet Fitness. The City's fee to appeal is $800. A patron has loaned this amount to the group, and we want to repay this generous assistance.

Action Items: Your Voice Matters -- please help the cause by doing the following:
- Please keep sharing this petition and keep spreading the word among your contacts about the pending closure of this beloved community landmark located at 551 Summerfield Road, Santa Rosa, CA 95404
- Support the local theater operator the Tocchini Family - Santa Rosa Cinemas by buying tickets to their shows and writing them to tell them how much you want them to stay in operation at this location.
- See how important this legacy local business history is to our cultural heritage
- Respectfully write to the Santa Rosa City Council at citycouncil@srcity.org and the Santa Rosa City Planning Commission at planningcommission@srcity.org to show your support and concern about keeping this property as a cinema and why it matters that it is not over taken by a corporatized, big box Planet Fitness gym.
- Share your views of why the Lakeside Shopping Center and other small and local business districts in this great city of ours need to be protected from chain-store take over.
