Today I am asking for help from my fellow citizen to protect the stray cats in our community here in Bacoor, Cavite. As I wander in my community, I often see children hurting these poor cats., and it breaks my heart to see them suffer. They suffer in silence, but all they really want is to live peacefully just like what we wanted. They may be strays, but they still deserve care and respect. If we continue to ignore this, they will always remain the victim of cruelty in our community. 

If nothing is done about this issue, the problem will only get worse and will affect both animals and people. Here are some possible results: ‎

• ‎More and more cats will continue to be harmed and die every day. ‎ ‎
• The death of cats will keep increasing, leading to sickness. 
• ‎Stray cats may bring injuries to people when they are forced to fight back. ‎ 
• ‎Children may grow up thinking it’s normal to harm animals. ‎ ‎
• Cruelty can become a habit and affect how kids treat other people too. 

This is why we need to take action now, before it’s too late. Together, we can create solutions to stop animal cruelty and guide children toward kindness. Here are some steps we can start with:

• Parents should guide children to treat animals with love and care. 
• Schools can teach lessons about compassion and caring for strays.
• Barangay officials can support animal rescue and adoption efforts

Working together will make Bacoor a safer and kinder place for all. Showing kindness to stray cats is not just about saving them, it's about teaching the next generation the value of compassion.
