I am reaching out with a desperate plea to raise awareness for mother and son Orca's that are stranded in France at a venue where they were used to perform that was closed down in January and rotting away. I am very passionate about the safety/protection of all marine life/wildlife and since hearing about these poor Whales stuck by no fault of their own, I am creating this petition in the hope to make everyone I possibly can aware and create more awareness to people like me that are normally to afraid to speak up about things that they feel very passionate about. I am begging and trying to reach out to anyone that can take their time and effort to read, understand  and care enough about my concerns to and need to help/save and most importantly act to release these intelligent abandoned animals back to where they belong in the sea and free.

I have always been fascinated by the wonders of our planet, the Ocean life our land beautiful trees, creatures, animals and mammals that we share this planet with. Some of which we all should know have existed and been living here on planet Earth long before humans ever existed.

The plight of Wikie and Keijo the mother and son Orca's, our sea mammals that have been on Earth long before us, these particular ones have been serving us as a testament to the rich tapestry of life that humans host.

These magnificent mammals endowed with intelligence and majesty, are in dire need of our help, after living in captivity for so long at Marineland in the South of France. Wikie and Keijo are stranded there at a venue that once thrived on their performances, but now stands closed and abandoned, leaving them with minimal aid and living in severe poverty in tanks that are derelict.

These Orca's and other marine life may I add (Dolphins etc) have been left to their own devices in an environment that is no longer hospitable, this is because the French Government introduced a law that at the time we would applaud but in their own obliviousness to what would become of these overworked mammals the venue closed its doors due to this new law. Which has now led to these Orcas no longer performing which is great but they are stranded, trapped as if they were prisoners and the care that Wikie and Keijo relied on from staff working there is minimal. They have been left to rot in filthy conditions. These beautiful mammals deserve a chance at freedom and should be released into the Ocean where they belong together or at least in a healthier living environment, where I am sure that they would thrive and have a second chance at living their lives out away from the unfortunate imprisonment that they have endured for human gain and enjoyment from their performances.

This is an URGENT need to rescue Wikie and Keijo from the undeserved imprisonment and relocating them to where they belong in the ocean or safely housed together were they are not left to perish as they are now.

The authority responsible for Marinelife in France must prioritize the relocation of Wikie and Keijo in to the ocean or where they belong and free them before they die in the rotten tanks they are suffering and living in.

These beautiful Orca's have done more than contribute to the public for our own enjoyment watching them perform. So again I am begging for anyone and everyone to lend your voice and actions to this cause, so that we can urge these authorities to act decisively. It's time for us to give back by ensuring their well being and future.
