As we celebrate meeting our latest goal of 75,000 signatures, we want to thank
everyone who has signed this petition! Your support is essential in helping us make the case to save Station 19.
As we eagerly await the season 7 premiere on March 14th at its new timeslot of 10
PM/9c, we wanted to provide an update on the campaign. Since December 8, we have
been diligently working to raise awareness of the abrupt cancelation and make the case for renewing this critically important TV show.
Here’s a recap of what the Station 19 campaign has achieved thus far:
In addition to garnering over 75,000 signatures, we have launched the Save Station 19
website to provide information and resources. We’ve garnered media attention with over 60 articles written and 3 podcasts published about the show and our fight to save it. We sent over 1,000 letters and toy fire trucks to ABC and ABC-Disney to compel them to save this show. The Save Station 19 fight was featured on a billboard on Times Square on New Year’s Eve. We had a plane fly over the Disney ABC offices and the studio on January 18th which was met with both excitement and gratitude by those on set that day. We provided flyers to take this fight off social media and help us reach people worldwide.
We’ve launched Phase 2 of the toy fire truck letter-writing campaign to focus on getting our message out to other studios, highlighting the show’s ratings and achievements throughout the years. Among its accolades are the “Imagen Award for Best Primetime Program-Drama,” the “2023 Sentinel Award” for its depiction of systemic racism, and the “35th annual GLAAD Award Nominee for Outstanding Drama Series.”
We have consistently trended on Twitter with both the #Station19 and #SaveStation19
hashtags. A billboard ad focused on marking the one-month countdown to March 14th and bringing awareness to the new time slot (10 PM/9c) was featured twice an hour all day long in NYC on February 14th. As if all this wasn’t enough, we’ve had the constant and unending support and encouragement from the cast and crew of Station 19 since the beginning.
In summary, this amazing fandom and a legion of dedicated fans are fighting to ensure that the vital representation provided by the creative team, cast, and crew of Station 19 remains on our screens for years to come. Their stories are not over yet, and we will continue to fight to make sure they have the opportunity to continue to be told so brilliantly.

In the upcoming seventh season, Station 19 will air its 100th episode. This is a
celebrated landmark for the series committed to public awareness and advocacy.
Female characters have faced issues of sexism in the workforce. Multiple character
storylines have explored issues of importance to the LGBTQ+ community. Station 19
has also tackled topics related to abuse, sexual assault, women’s reproductive rights,
mental health, and grief.
Station 19 cannot be canceled because these stories must continue to be shared with a global audience. Station 19 provides a safe and welcoming place that allows audiences, young and old, to feel seen and represented. At a time when our rights are being eroded at every turn, finding a home to see ourselves reflected is critical. For many in the global viewing audience, it is their only form of proper representation.
According to an article in Variety, as of April 2023, Station 19 averaged 8.3 million total
viewers in Season 6. Ratings for Station 19 jumped nearly 4 times over its initial
Live+Same Day rating in adults 18-49 throughout the last season with an increase of
294% after 35 days of multiplatform viewing. The show ratings are strong and the
streaming audience is even stronger.
