We are the Parents and Community Stakeholders of St Jude & St Paul’s Church of England Primary School.  This is a small, successful faith-based school with children from various ethnic backgrounds and religions (we welcome children of all faiths and of none).  St Jude & St Paul’s Church of England Primary School is a staple in this community since 1857.  Many generations have attended this school and still do today.

On Tuesday 12th November 2024 Islington Council launched an informal consultation seeking the views of parents and carers, staff, the local community, and other interested groups on its proposal to close St Jude and St Paul’s CofE Primary School. 

Islington Council do not understand the true value of St Jude & St Paul’s Church of England Primary School in our community and their decision is purely based on statistics and money.  A decision to close this school will be very destructive to our community.

We love this school.  We have great teachers, during the COVID 19 pandemic teachers went above and beyond their duty to support our children as evidenced by the YouTube channel https://youtube.com/@sjsplearning9092?si=bEpXYi3pBIegPP1X

We have many personal stories of children being safeguarded because of our close knit community.  We are also a safe place for children from other schools.
