Archeologists are scheduled to do Ground Penetrating Radar at 331 Danbury Road next week, weather permitting. This has been made possible by the Glengate Company of Wilton, which generously donated their services to clear the brush.

The survey will cover all areas of the property that both could be impacted by development and where burials might exist.

The small hill on the property will not be surveyed; bedrock is only a few inches deep on that hill, excluding the possibility of burials.

An access road running parallel to the train tracks and the extreme northern point of the property also will not be surveyed at this time (depending on the results from the rest of the property, however, state funding may be sought to cover them in the future). These areas are covered by an easement to Connecticut Light & Power. They are not at risk from further development following any potential sale of 331 Danbury Road.
