Hello everyone who cares and wants what is best for Spearmint! I have just sent the following via email to the RSPCA. I will update you immediately if I receive a response:

Dear RSPCA Leadership,

At the time of this message, over 2,500 people from around the world have signed a petition asking you to permit Spearmint to live in a sanctuary if she can't be released back into the wild. Many seals live fulfilling, healthy lives in captivity. As the creator of this petition, I am asking you to please answer these two questions, the answers to which I will share with the people who signed Spearmint’s petition as well as with her fans in the Spearmint the Seal Appreciation Society on Facebook:

If Spearmint is unable to be released back into the wild, but is healthy enough to live a happy and enriched life in a sanctuary, will you make an exception to your no wildlife captivity rule for Spearmint?

Will independent consultation from a seal sanctuary be a part of determining Spearmint’s suitability?
