One week ago via email I forwarded this petition with over 2,500 signatures to the RSPCA. Thousands of people all over the world signed their names showing they want Spearmint to have the option of living in a sanctuary as opposed to euthanasia. I asked RSPCA leadership two simple but important questions about Spearmint's future:

1) If Spearmint is unable to be released back into the wild, but is healthy enough to live a happy and enriched life in a sanctuary, will you make an exception to your no wildlife captivity rule for Spearmint?

2) Will independent consultation from a seal sanctuary be a part of determining Spearmint’s suitability?

I am disappointed to share that the RSPCA has not responded at this time. I will continue to update you when I have new information. Please keep sharing this petition for Spearmint!
