On Monday afternoon, I got another chance to speak with Stan Milam on WCLO Radio. I've included a link to our conversation.

During our conversation, I brought up some of the alternate ideas that we believe will increase merchandise revenue, such as updating the Beloit Snappers logo and/or rebranding as the "Stateline Snappers" or "Rock County Snappers".

As an additional compromise, I also mentioned that fans might be more open to a new name with a more local connection than what's currently being proposed - such as:

• Ironmen (to honor Beloit's factory history)
• Chili Dogs (after the Hormel & Frito Lay factories)
• Dino Hunters (after famous Beloit College archaeologist and the rumored inspiration for Indiana Jones, Roy Chapman Andrews).
