My family has owned the properties located at 9320,9322 and 9324 Six Forks Rd since 1910. My Great Grandmother Alice Justice Smith deeded her sons Thomas Smith and Marvin Smith the properties in 1965. This heir property has strong family ties being passed five generations.

My family is currently involved in a civil matter where my deceased uncle Marvin wife is forcing the sale of the heir property.We have offered to purchase my uncles portion of the property. His wife is wanting our family land sold to a commercial developer who will rezone the property for commercial use and/or develop a new neighborhood. All properties are zoned R1. The property being  rezoned will not only increase the volume of traffic but destroy the trees on 9322 Six Forks Rd. 

This portion of Six Forks Road doesn’t need any additional volume of traffic. I ask you please sign this petition that blocks any plans of 9322 and 9324 Six Forks Rd from being rezoned. Signing this petition will increase the likelihood of this property being sold back to the rightful heirs.
