In Just Over Two Weeks, The Petition to Save The Silver Creek Wetland Continues to Gain Momentum!

The federal election is just around the corner and we need to understand exactly where our politician's stand on the future of Ontario wetlands!  Ask your local politicians how they will keep important environmental issues such as wetland conservation on the agenda and what steps they will take in this endeavour.

Please continue to support the petition by sharing with 10 people as part of an ongoing campaign to stop two Collingwood developments -Huntingwood Trails and Bridgewater - that will permanently alter and degrade this fragile “Provincially Significant” ecosystem. 

We want to raise awareness about these and several other mega-projects in Collingwood/Blue Mountains that are being put forward by large-scale GTA developers that will forever compromise the health of South Georgian Bay.

This is happening while we face a climate crisis that demands we protect rather than pave over our forests, wetlands and wildlife habitat.
